Ashley & Tim

A Halloween Wedding!

Ashley chose 5 different cake flavors. The bottom tier was a raspberry-almond torte. The next tier was carrot, and the top two were chocolate.

Everything was edible, including the bride and groom. All the icing and decorations were buttercream, except the pumpkins and the bride and groom, which were made from fondant and gum paste.

The cupcakes were Bone Digger (vanilla), Coffin Cover (chocolate), Banshee's Blush (strawberry) and Scarlet's Revenge (red velvet).

  1. This cake was truly a work of art! We were not able to find a "Corpse Bride" cake topper so Carrie made one out of fondant. The likeness was amazing and it really completed the look Ashley was going for. When I asked Ashley if she was happy with her cake, she smiled and said "I never thought I'd have a cake like this. It's like something you see in a magazine."

Not only did the cake look fabulous, it tasted even better. The cupcakes were a great addition and Carrie surprized us by giving each flavor a Halloween-themed name to complete the presentation.

    The cake was truly perfect!
